She has over 40 film and television credits, including The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang (1980), Grease 2 (1982), Benson, Shining Time Station (1989), and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999).
Since her son Daniel had been diagnosed with the disorder, on November 13, 2008, she was named "national celebrity spokeswoman" for Autism Speaks. She has made several appearances, educating the masses on the disorder.
