Melody Valentine is a character in Josie and the Pussy Cats. She was voiced by Jackie Joseph.
About Melody[]
In the band, she is the drummer. Melody is a stereotypical "dumb blonde", although her excellent drumming skills have helped the gang on a few occasions. Melody is not bright, but she's very kind towards everyone, even Alexandra. She usually speaks in a sing-song voice, and she is Alexander's girlfriend. Her ears also wiggle whenever the gang is in danger.
Her most common attire in the first series consists of all shades of green: A grass green shirt with turtle-neck collar and long sleeves; a mint green vest with a V-neck; a Sacramento green, pleated mini-skirt; and mint green high heels.
In the musical sequences, Melody wears a feline suit and she plays the drums.
In Josie and the Pussy Cats in Outer Space, like both Valerie and Josie, Melody wears a golden yellow space suit with an orange sailor collar, matching orange gloves with a brown belt and the pussycat buckle in the center and brown boots. The color of her ribbon is now golden yellow to match her space suit.
In Don't Count on a Countess Alexandra's antidote doesn't make them young again but it changes Melody into being smart!
- Johnny Bravo dated Velma Dinkley of Scooby-Doo series but when the relationship didn't work out he began dating Melody Valentine!
