The kids, on vacation in the Florida Keys, encounter the Snake Demon. And by mistake, Daphne Blake buys an idol cursed by the Snake Demon.

- Daphne Blake's scarf turns gray when she calls for Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo on the ship.
- When Shaggy and the dogs first meet the Snake Demon, and Scooby runs off, his captain hat falls on the ground and then disappears.
- Defarge looked more light-skinned when he was unmasked.
