John Francis "Jack" Burns (born November 15, 1933, in Boston) is an American comedian. On Wait till Your Father Gets Home, Burns was the voice of Ralph Kane, Harry Boyle's hyper-patriotic neighbor. He later lent his voice to a series of "Crash Test Dummies" public service spots, along with Lorenzo Music.

Burns started out in stand-up as one-half of the comedy team "Burns & Carlin" with George Carlin. After the duo broke up, Burns went on to become a member of the famed Second City comedy troupe in Chicago, where he met Avery Schreiber. He and Schreiber would perform as a comedy team for several years before Burns became the head writer on the first season of The Muppet Show (1976).
