Loopy De Loop (1959) - Intro (Opening)

Loopy De Loop was Hanna-Barbera's only post-MGM theatrical cartoon star. His shorts were distributed to theaters by Columbia Pictures between 1959 and 1965.

Loopy was a Québécois wolf (voice of Daws Butler) who sought to improve the name and repute of wolves. Despite prejudice and mistrust, even by other wolves, Loopy persevered in what he saw as his mission in life.

On occasion, his son Bon-Bon appeared as sidekick in Loopy's adventures.

Loopy's only TV appearance was a cameo in an episode of Yo Yogi!.

(Riviére du Loup is an actual river and community in the Canadian province of Québec, in the Haut St.-Laurent region. The American state of Nebraska has a Loup River and a community called Loup City.)
