Mano Tiki Tia appears in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode "A Tiki Scare Is No Fair". At first it appeared to be a stone Hawaiian idol that came to life. In reality, it was a robot on wheels, controlled by a man hired by John Simms. This was to keep intruders away from where Simms was poaching pearl beds.
