Marty Grabstein (born November 28, 1954) is an American comic actor, best known as the voice of Courage The Cowardly Dog.


Marty Grabstein grew up in Astoria, New York. When he was a child, he was taught tae kwan do as defense against bullies in his neighborhood.

Grabstein, who was always a natural actor, sought a career in movies. His first role was in Bury the Evidence. The next year, his voice talents earned him the role of Courage on the beloved cartoon Courage the Cowardly Dog, which ran until 2002. After Courage ended, Marty made frequent appearances on the NBC series Law and Order and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. His film credits include Apartment #5C and Third Watch.

Theses days you can find Marty driving a trolley in New York, entertaining passengers with his comedic antics. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, Nancy Hughes, and his two boys, Matthew and Daniel.
