Rigdon Osmond "Rick" Dees (born March 14, 1950, in Jacksonville, Florida) is an American actor and broadcaster. He has been married to Julie McWhirter Dees since 1977. His voice roles for Hanna-Barbera include:


  • As "Rick Dees and His Cast of Idiots", Dees hit #1 on the Billboard charts in 1976 with his song "Disco Duck".
  • Since 1983, Dees has presented two different versions of his Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 on international radio: Contemporary Hit Radio and Hot Adult Contemporary.
  • In 1999, Dees was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame.
