NSDM Sonny Cher

Sonny & Cher (Salvatore Philip Bono, 1935–1998, and Cheryl Sarkisian, born 1946) were married pop singers. They had a TV variety show in the early 1970s and were featured in an episode of The New Scooby-Doo Movies.

Besides singing, Sonny Bono was a record producer, actor and politician whose career spanned three decades. After his death in 1998, Cher continued singing and acting in a solo career that won her many awards. Cher is said to have a deep contralto vocal range that spans three octaves and three notes, from a baritone C3 to her head voice F6, which is above soprano C.
