Susan Dey

Susan Dey (born Susan Hallock Smith, December 10, 1952, in Pekin, Illinois) is an American actress, who entered acting by way of a modeling career. She is best known for playing Laurie Partridge on the musical sitcom The Partridge Family, and reprised the role in only two episodes of the animated series.

The actress is the daughter of newspaper editor Robert Smith and nurse Gail Dey. She adopted her mother's maiden name as her professional surname. In 1972, Dey appeared with her Partridge Family co-stars in a television commercial for Kellogg's Rice Krispies.
